Bio: IRONWEED BLUEGRASS BAND are from Columbia, Missouri. Some folks around here say they are strong similarities between the band and the wildflower. Founded on Christmas Day, 1994 -- with the initial goal of doing one or two live broadcasts on KOPN radio -- two ol' veteran pickers teamed up with a couple of charming & musical ladies - - and the chemistry was right! The IRONWEED BLUEGRASS BAND has developed a long, strong suit of hard-drivin' traditional and non-traditional bluegrass tunes. And when the folks want to dance, they can play some nice waltzes and two-steps, too. Their pickin' is awfully good -- and some will tell you that the singing is even better. This is a band to see, hear, and enjoy -- live!
