WE, Tyree & Jesca Byndom, are the founders and chosen conduits to receive the mission and purpose of being “The Katalyzt's”. Like most entertainers and performers in the music industry nowadays, where ego and opinion is at the forefront, and monetary value is the motive and money or material wealth is the goal, I assure you that we are not the likes of these, and our group is not a self-willed faction. The courses of action, strategies, and choices we make, as a single entity, are forged from a combination of prayer, contemplation, consultation, devotion and worship, and the motive is pure, being to serve the eternal and living covenant of god through the arts, and the action is to be of service and an asset to humanity, and to teach the Love of the Unknown, with is the foundation of Faith. The mission is very simple, to assist in bringing the “Kingdom of Heaven 2 Earth”, and to Love each human for the sake of our All-Loving, All-Wise Creator.
Bio of Blaq Paladin
1988 - Started writing and performing under the pseudonym of “Major”
1990 - Formed first group: “Mind Majorz” (While in the USMC served from 88-92) album titled T.y.r.e.e. meaning: The young rapper, extra, extra sold 100,000 copies in California.
1992 - Moved back to Missouri and worked with various local groups, Devious Minds, The Underworld, Phantazm and stepped away for a while because of alternative responsibilities (family), and because of my strong dislike of the direction of the rap industry.
1995 - After years of Scriptural analysis and study, combined with a love for poetry, and maturing of
My children, and increased dislike of the current state of the rap genre and industry in general, on top of seeing the effect that the music has on the hearers and urban society in general. From the perception of the world, to the affect on the children, was urged by my heart and soul to return to the arena of entertainment.
1996 - Formed a Group called “Klaad Eternal” with 5 other individuals that I gave direction to and basically used them as independent rappers. I created all the songs and music and paid all the expenses, this soon got tired. This group was also not a self-willed faction, and was the herald of a greater mission and a depository for virtues, but ultimately the main prerequisite was to “Live the Words” which they choose not to do and the group disbanded when I prepared a missive for future action.
1999 - Formed the group “Myzeri” with RC Sanders, and Scotti Skyllz, and myself and completed the album “Ghetto Chivalrous” which sold 500 copies at a CD release party, and disbanded because both members moved out of town. Had reunion show on 02/15/01.
2000 - The group “Arkke” was formed and is a combination of Ark and Klaad Eternal, which consists of the two current members. Have performed over 200 times and we are spiritual performers so we can perform on any stage and place.
2001 - Formed the non-for profit organization “KORE” meaning: Kollectively organized to Reach Everyone and were currently working with myriads of artists, helping with creativity, knowledge, market analysis, and more importantly, what they want to accomplish, also connected with multiple bands/artists in multiple genre’s of the music industry. Also formed a LLC business called “Mo’ Linx entertainment.
2001- Started a Talk Show called “Kore Issues” on 89.5 KOPN to discuss global issues with a hometown feel. Have done over 50 shows with numerous distinguished guests which the rap group “The Katalyzts” are the Hosts. Also we DJ the only Hip-Hop played on the station with a show called the “Tame the Tongue Hour” with the Mid-West DJ Champion as fellow Host DJ Lil’ Duck of Ninja D Productions doing a top 10 club countdown bi-weekly. Interviews with Hip-Hop, and R&B artists and producers & live performances by local talent and a song performed by “The Katalyzts”
2002- Changed the name from Arkke to The Katalyzts because we have matured and it is easier for the people to understand and will be releasing our first long awaited debut album titled "Blaq Kollar" in the Fall of 2007. The Future is bright indeed.
