Bio: When I (John Taylor) moved to columbia way back when, i hadn't played guitar in over three years. it gave me a lot of time to venture away from metal music and discover different styles. The first band i joined was "Throe" with Jeff Brothers (drums), Truman Highbarger (vocals), Aaron (guitars), John (bass) and i played guitar. Eventually Scott Dunkin took over on vocals. I moved on to join "Sixty Cycle Hum" with Scott, Jeff and a new bass player, Tony Schmidt.
Eventually I played with a band "Kevorkians Dream." Which was me on guitar, Jared Douglas (Drums), Scott Dunkin (vocals) and Cliff Moore (bass). I'd have to say that this was probably the most successful band i was in where as we actually traveled out of state a lot to play shows but personal tragedies brought us to a halt. my final band in columbia was "Rhythm Temple." As a guitar player, i couldn't ask for anything better. i pretty much had complete control of songwriting. we had a great practice location. great guys in the band (all of whom are still dear friends of mine).
Now i'm working on my new music under the band name "Ash Of Evolution." I'm working on how to play drums, and i'm just writing the music that I always wanted to write. Please E-mail me through Comomusic or Myspace.
thanks -john
