Bio: Alpaca Radio has been hooking up current, visual DJ sets in Columbia since October 2007 - reluctant mosh-starved coeds, diehard beat junkies, feisty cougars out hunting, the young, able, disabled, graceful or hopeless, locals, nomads, coffee sippers and 40 guzzlers. Hip-hop background, but down for any dance party, art opening, fashion show, basement riot or afterbar.

Past shows include regular appearances at Mojo's, the Blue Fugue, Ragtag Cinemacafe, Sapphire Lounge, residency at Lee St. Deli in East Campus and recently the Blue Note.

Ill past performances with regional DJs and musicians including Indyground Entertainment (Steddy P, Bustrip, Rhyme University, Thesis) Silly J Skills, Dr. Pong, Bruce Banner, DJ Mahf, J-Bomb and Root of Two, Jimmy Spits, Thieves Guild, DC, Woodro Recuds. Official True/False Friday Afterparty with Ssion (peep URB Magazine's Next 1000 for 2008) and opening for That 1 Guy (YouTube this MF) at Mojo's.

Incorporating visuals for a multi-sensory experience, one or two projectors are used to blow up video (originally episodes of the BBC's Planet Earth, recently Adult Swim's The Boondocks, Pootie Tang, and Beyond Valley of The Dolls) behind performances. The best must be Steddy P's Dear Columbia CD release party at Blue Fugue- stage visuals all night with a live camera feed projecting Magic8 and Eddy English's live art on a second screen 10-foot close-up style.
