Bio: Awoken Shadows got it’s start in the winter of 2006 after the disbanding of founding members Matt Brady and James Salmons first band Snatching Gnomes.
The band experienced a successful beginning, winning local battles and performing in venues across the state. Word of their unique and aggressive mix of metal and punk spread fast.
In the spring of 2007 the band hit some trouble when 3 members left unexpectedly. Determined to continue Matt Brady (Guitar) and Spencer Page (Vox) searched out and recruited new talent. Turning what could have been a disaster into a chance for improvement and growth.
With the addition of Ron “Brother Man” Hickson (Bass), Scott Hopsecker (Lead Guitar), Tim Evans (Vox/Drums) and Chuck Ayers (Drums) the line up is stronger then ever.
With their mix of creative musical influences and an intense stage presence, Awoken Shadows stands out from the crowd. They continue to push forward, creating an original, hard-hitting sound that brings high energy, in your face, head banging, and forceful music back to the fans.
