Bio: Doc Howard's Fiddle Band (a.k.a. Fiddling Missouri)plays traditional fiddle music of Missouri for festivals, school programs, museums, dances, etc. Their regular venue is Cherry Street Artisan in Columbia, where they play second and fourth Wednesdays through the lunch hour. Fiddler Howard Marshall (MU professor emeritus of art history) has played fiddle for 35 years at dances, sessions, and contests, and his mentors were legendary Columbia area fiddlers such as Taylor McBaine and Pete McMahan.
